(There was no doubt about it.~I couldn’t deny it any longer~It was a fact that was very obvious.} My body was sick. I was very obese and my body was not working the way it was supposed to anymore. My doctor diagnosed me with several different maladies. The fact that was obese was at the bottom of the problems. To put it simply I was eating myself to death.

I could look in the mirror and see the problem. It was clear to me what the problem was, but how could I solve the problem? I needed to lose the weight quickly, but I knew that would be hard since it didn’t appear overnight. I was lost and didn’t know where to turn when I went searching on the internet and found something called the biggest loser forum, where there were chat rooms full of people who were fighting a weight loss battle of their own. The site gave me some hope that I wasn’t alone in my desire to lose weight and that there was someone out there that could help me. I was able to find a lot of information about the different ways to lose weight. Once I had decided that it was either now or never to get healthy, I was ready for the next step.

I sought the advice of a medical professional. With the assistance of the doctor I was able to figure out what I was going to try to do to get rid of the weight. The main thing was that he agreed that I should do something about it. The day finally came when I went to the hospital to try to change my life. The operation was successful and I spent a short time in bed at the hospital. It took several weeks to start my recovery. During that time I could hardly eat anything. I started a fitness regimen as soon as I felt strong enough to do it. I was not going to accept anything short of success with this plan. And it was working. I was watching the fat melt off of my body. Within the first year after surgery I had lost over one hundred pounds. It has been two years since my surgery and I am exactly half the man I used to be. People could no call me fat anymore because I didn’t have a belly that got to a door two minutes before the rest of my body. The health issues I was facing had all been lessened. I still exercise everyday and now my family joins in with me. If I hadn’t done this, I would have died, but now I wake up each morning and enjoy the new day.
